Hôtel Palafitte

A boutique hotel uniquely constructed on stilts,
above and overlooking the serene waters of
Lake Neuchâtel. The project involved a renovation
of all FOH areas, maintaining the existing floors
and ceilings, to improve aspects of operation,
use of space and create a scheme that is comfortable,
yet contemporary.

The scheme features clean lines and simple shapes,
in a host of bespoke pieces such as the reception desk,
front bar, feature fireplace, wine fridge enclosures,
service stations, buffet counter with hot and
cold induction, including more unusual and ‘fun’ items
such as ‘interactive’ artwork in the cigar lounge made
with laser-cut MDF and sandpaper - allowing guests
to strike their match against it to light a fire.
